Diogo Nogueira - Old Skull Publishing

2021 Ennie Best Adventure Gold Medal Winner, Diogo Nogueira is a game creator, artist and graphic designer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and his creations combine modern game design techniques with classic and pulpy inspiration.

In 2016 he published his first RPG, Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells, and soon many more came along. Today Old Skull Publishing has already published 7 complete games, and a few other products to support them.

Additionally, Diogo works as an illustrator and graphic designer for his own games and other author’s projects, having worked for North Wind Games, Bloat Games, Appendix N Entertainment, Skeeter Green Publishing, Shield of Faith Studios, Magpie Games and many others

 

Josh Yoder - Crimson Adder Curiosities

Josh Yoder, aka Crimson Adder, makes games that bleed radioactive slime and whisper secrets lost in static. Their breakout H2O-Pocalypse floods the OSR with surf-punk chaos, mutants, mayhem, and the end of everything. Every release is a love letter to midnight movies, all things weird, nostalgic, and the unapologetically homemade.


Al Spader - The Yellow Hand & Modiphius

Al Spader is a freelance RPG writer for Star Trek Adventures and Achtung! Cthulhu as well as the lead designer of the Sentience and Once Upon ttrpgs. A Maine native, Al brings his knowledge of neurodivergence and social emotional learning to the ttrpg space.


Judge Foxy

Foxy is one of the hardest working tabletop gamer advocates and activists that many of us will ever know. Specifically, she is first and foremost an advocate and activist for LGBTQ+ individuals in all OSR spaces, especially Goodman Games-published TTRPGs such as Dungeon Crawl Classics and Xcrawl Classics.

Foxy has also organized and assisted with many charity events, of which many are streamed on Twitch and YouTube, as well as helming gaming events geared for fundraising. These events have raised funds for groups such as Trans Lifeline, Food Not Bombs, YWCA of Northeast Indiana, and The Starlight Foundation."

 

Ron Meischker - Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo

Ron has been involved in the RPG hobby for four-and-a-half decades.

He is best known for being the founder/organizer of the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo (PAGE) which takes place annually in January. He also is the administrator of the RPG Collectors Discussion and Barter Group Facebook Community. He also recently authored an adventure Tomb of the Ancient Moor King in collaboration with artist Chet Minton.

Ron serves as the auctioneer for EGG Con’s E Gary Gygax Memorial Scholarship fund charity auction, which he considers one of the great honors of his time involved in the gaming industry. He has also served as the game auction auctioneer at more than a dozen conventions over the years, most recently and notably PAGE, ShireCon and Ecclesicon.
When not slaying dragons at the game table and running game conventions, Ron serves as the Director of Industry and Labor Compliance for the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. He lives on a farm in Southern New Jersey with his better half, author J. Lauryl Jennings, their dog Sook, and cats.


Ian McGarty - Silver Bulette

New Englander Ian McGarty is one half of Silver Bulette Publishing and is a game designer, cartographer, and writer. He publishes he and Jayson ‘Rocky’ Gardner’s creations for multiple game systems including Shadow Dark, 5E, DCC, MCC, WHPA, Neon Lords of the Toxic Wasteland, and more.

You can find Ian running and playing as many RPGs and RPG systems as he can be exposed to. In his ‘real’ life, Ian spends his time chasing his wife and wrangling his kids on crazy adventures and practicing speech pathology.

Ian’s recent titles include The Temple of the Sheep God, The Demon Curd of St Uguzo, and The Shadow of the Brutacorn.

 

Jeffrey Talanian - North Wind Adventures

New England's own, Jeffrey Talanian is the publisher at North Wind Adventures and the creator of HYPERBOREA, a tabletop adventure game of swords, sorcery, and weird science-fantasy. HYPERBOREA is inspired by the pulp fiction of Robert E. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft, and Clark Ashton Smith, with mechanics inspired by the works of E. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.

Previously, Jeffrey coauthored Castle Zagyg, working closely with the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons, E. Gary Gygax, until his passing in 2008. These days, Jeffrey lives in New Hampshire with his wife, children, and other creatures, and he’s always at work on the next HYPERBOREA project.

Chet Minton - Chet Minton-Artist

 

Chet Minton is a classically trained artist with more than 25 years of experience in the printing and publishing industry, working fluently across both traditional and digital media. He currently serves as Art Director for the Philadelphia Area Game Expo and as Art Director and Co-Owner of Orange Cat Games.

For over fifteen years, Chet has been an accomplished freelance artist, designer, and cartographer in the tabletop roleplaying community. His award-winning illustrations have appeared in a wide range of publications, including tabletop roleplaying game books and modules, fantasy fiction covers, interior art, and comic book anthologies.

Renowned for a distinctive visual style that moves effortlessly between atmospheric realism and playful whimsy, Chet brings imagination, depth, and versatility to every project. His work is particularly recognized in the realms of fantasy and science fiction, where his talent for visual world-building shines.

When not at the drawing table, Chet works under the vigilant supervision of his three feline studio managers, who graciously permit him to share their space in exchange for consistent meals and attention.

 

Dave Ward - Grimwood Games

Dave Ward is the owner and lead designer of Grimwood Games, a tabletop RPG publisher dedicated to immersive storytelling and innovative mechanics. With over 30 years of experience behind the GM screen, Dave specializes in creating worlds that blend modern urban legends with deep folklore. He is the creator of the Ironbound system, an urban fantasy RPG powered by a unique d12 mechanic that emphasizes player agency and open magic.

Most recently, he has been developing Plaguebound, a dark fantasy survival horror game set in a world consumed by an eldritch corruption. When not designing games or running actual plays on the Grimwood Games Twitch and YouTube channels, Dave resides in Maine, crafting the next great mystery for players to unravel.

 

Peter Rooney - Revenant Cowboy Press

 

Pete is an indie RPG creator, and owner of Revenant Cowboy Press making all sorts of weird, macabre, strange concoctions from his lab deep below inside the Hollow Earth. He's been GMing and writing for over 2 decades.

His most recent creation is What Lurks Between The Trees. A horror TTRPG about playing as park rangers fighting both budget cuts and eldritch threats within the national parks.
He is currently working on his next project, Strange Roads. A TTRPG of weird Americana, absurdism and playing as teens fighting against the weird enemy known as the Void Signal. Wield psychic powers, strange abilities and weird inventions in a wild road trip to save the world.

Thom Wilson - Throwi Games

Thom Wilson is the founder and owner of ThrowiGames.com where he has published games for 15 years, and he is the organizer of ShireCon, an awesome gaming convention that takes place every fall in Connecticut. Thom has created content for several game systems including B/X, Gamma World and modern games such as Mork Borg, Shadowdark and Five Torches Deep.

 

Benjamin Palmer - Adventures Await Studios

 

New England native, Benjamin Palmer has been writing tabletop role-playing game content professionally for over five years. With seven successful crowdfunding campaigns, a successful Patreon, and numerous freelance projects under his belt, he's guaranteed to have something to liven up your game table!

 

Edwin Nagy - Parallel Dimension Gaming

Edwin Nagy started gaming early with a group of friends in Lincoln, NE, and came back into the hobby in the twenty-teens. He splits his gaming time happily between horror, fantasy, and a few other genres. Most recently, Edwin is a founding member of Parallel Dimension Gaming, producing gaming books and developing gaming related experiences.

He has worked for and with Lesser Gnome, Monkeyblood Designs, Frog God Games, The Merry Mushmen, and Dark Naga (among others) as rules developer, writer, editor, project manager, and author. He particularly enjoys working with authors new to writing scenarios.

 Along with his gaming work in publishing, he is a co-host on This Ol’ Dungeon, a player and GM with Skype of Cthulhu (an actual play podcast with over 1000 recorded sessions!), and developer of Dungeon Survivor.
